Gisela Elisabeth Adolfine Dziallas

The genealogy of the Dziallas family begins with Gisela Elisabeth Adolfine Dziallas; grandmother of Erick Karl Weigel Jr. .  She was born on September 18, 1922 and died on September 09, 1997.  She was born in Dülken, North Rhineland-Westphilia, Germany (formerly Rhineland).

Gisela E.A. Dziallas grew up with Rudolf W. Weigel, grandfather of Erick Karl Weigel Jr., in the New York City community where their families emigrated to and eventually married.  The Dziallas family tree is very small, but despite this it has been very difficult to extend the branches beyond a few generations.  Most of the information that is known was gathered by Rudolf W. Weigel through correspondence with living family members a few years before his death.

The Dziallas family originates in Dülken, North Rhineland-Westphilia, Germany (formerly Rhineland).  All of the Dziallas pedigree beyond, Gisela E.A. Dziallas were born in Dülken.  The oldest known pedigree ancestor of Erick Karl Weigel Jr. in the Dziallas family was Karl Dziallas (b. ?, d. ?).  Karl Dziallas married Maria Habel (b. ?, d. ?).  The only known offspring was Hermann Adolf Dziallas (b. 19 DEC 1872, d. 23 JUL 1947).

Hermann A. Dziallas married Johanna Catherina Winkler (b. 29 MAY 1867, d. 12 SEP 1939). She was also born in Dülken.  Two daughters and two sons were born to Hermann A. Dziallas and Johanna C. Winkler.  There were:  Hedwig M. Dziallas, Maria Dziallas, Karl Adolf Dziallas, and Johann Adolf Dziallas (b. 25 FEB 1893, d. 05 JAN 1956).  [Note:  family information of the non-pedigree relatives may be discussed at a later date.]

Johann A. Dziallas married Johanna Schörken (b. 11 MAR 1891, d. 20 APR 1975).  Johanna Schörken was born in Wülfrath, North Rhineland-Westphilia, Germany (formerly Rhineland).  There were three children born to Johann A. Dziallas and Johanna Schörken.  There was:  Gisela E.A. Dziallas, my grandmother, Hildegarde Adele Katherine Dziallas, and Guenther Otto August Dziallas.
